Praised, golden castle, strewn with vanities: pearl vaults, rubied torches, gates of adamantine, pied piper playing from his tower to all humanity. Chthonic clouds collude from the Mountain-Serpentine. Zenith hexes and marked curses come attached to every shining resplendence that fall from on high. Rex odii horribilis casts his spells and wracks the fool with distractions, ever pleasing, through lies. Currents, signs, sharp edged moonbeams, constellations, horoscopes, tea leaves, and thrown bones reveal naught. For the saint, he must be always waiting, finding consolation in the death of these things, passing away, and know his lot.
